Robert was a syndicated wine columnist with 30 years experience writing about wine. His weekly column, "Wine Talk," was carried by Creators Syndicate. He was also a monthly contributor to the Reuters "Vine Talk" column. Robert was publisher and managing partner of Wine Review Online, President of Wine Cellar Productions, and executive director of the following international wine and spirits competitions: San Diego Challenge, Winemaker Challenge, Critics Challenge and Sommelier Challenge. His wife Diane served as Executive Director from 2021-2025.
Director Rich Cook Rich is a genuine wine competition professional with more than 30 years experience in all facets of competition production. He currently serves as Director of seven major international wine and/or spirits competitions, including San Diego Challenge, Winemaker Challenge, Critics Challenge, Sommelier Challenge, The Toast of the Coast, Monterey, and Distilled San Diego. Rich also contributes weekly wine reviews and other writings to WineReviewOnline.com and serves as editor at SpiritsReviewOnline.com.
